What is Gold Star Rewards?
Gold Star Rewards is a program that rewards you for doing what you do every day - working as a substitute through Substitutes Any Time. You save the day in the classroom, and we want to reward you with big savings! Through the program, Substitutes Any Time will track your days worked at any of our schools, centers, and districts. At the end of each month, we will calculate your average days worked per week, and those who meet an average of 3+ full days worked will qualify for A+ Substitute status. As an A+ Substitute, you will be granted access to thousands of discounts at merchants across the country, including retailers, restaurants, entertainment, travel, and more!
How do I enroll in the program?
Once you are hired with Substitutes Any Time, you will automatically be enrolled in the program. You will receive an introductory email with your member number and pin, and your days worked will automatically be tracked by our system.
How do I track my progress?
You can log in to the Gold Star Rewards website (link listed above) at any time to see the days you've worked. The system will be updated weekly when payroll is processed on Fridays, and will reflect the previous week's assignments. We will also update the system at the end of each calendar month to make sure any discrepancies are resolved.
What do I earn as an A+ Substitute?
With A+ Substitute status, you are granted access to thousands of discounts and deals including restaurants, shopping, and events both locally and nation-wide. Just search for deals online by accessing your account above. You can easily redeem your discounts online by printing coupons to various merchants, or download the free MyDeals app to redeem discounts on the go. There is no limit to your saving potential. You will also receive a membership card in the mail signifying your status as an A+ substitute.
How much can I save over the course of a year as an A+ Substitute?
There is no limit to the number of deals you can take advantage of, it's up to you. You could save hundreds or dollars a year on food, shopping, travel, and more!
What if I live in a rural area and don't live near discounted merchants?
Let us know which merchants are in your area that you'd like to see discounts for, and we will work on adding them to the program. You can also take advantage of discounts and deals when you travel to other parts of the state or country.
What if I work for an area where there isn't 3+ days work available to me each week?
Check out the regions/districts we service to see if there are any other work opportunities available to you through Substitutes Any Time. If you are a Phoenix Area sub, we offer work at school districts, charter schools, and early child care centers! We will also notify our substitute pool any time we begin working with new school districts. Substitutes Any Time will be monitoring the work available at our more isolated districts and adjusting the program criteria as needed.
