Job Description - Teachers and Paras
Job Duties (Teacher)
- Effectively manage a classroom of students by keeping students on task and dealing with any behavioral issues
- Follow lesson plans left by the regular classroom teacher
- Supervise and ensure safety of students during classroom hours
- Clean up and straighten the classroom after your assignment
- Leave feedback and notes for the regular classroom teacher
- Any other duties as requested by the school
Job Duties (Para)
- Assist classroom teachers with tasks as requested
- Work with students in small groups or one on one
- Assist special education students as needed
- Supervise lunch, recess, and/or study hall
- Any other duties as requested by the school
Job Expectations
- Be available on an on-call basis to accept daily, weekly and/or long term opportunities
- Follow through with scheduled assignments once you accept them
- Schedule non-work days through the Aesop automated system when you are not available to work

Skills and Specifications
- Teachers: Must hold a valid Arizona Teaching License or Substitute License; must have valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or be able to obtain one
- Paras: Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma and a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card; some schools may require 60+ college credit
